Toxin Alert's patented diagnostic tests for food freshness and food safety are rapidly approaching commercialization.
Development of Toxin Guard™ technology is proceeding at the company's Guelph laboratory, with pre-commercial scale antibodies being produced in bioreactors. Commercial scale antibody production will be sourced from plants using plantibody™ technology.
The company's strategy...
The company is also exploring development agreements with several food packaging products manufacturers.
The company expects to earn commercial revenues from: license fees from the use of Toxin Guard™ technology in commercial applications; sales of reagents for the licensed production of Toxin Guard™ products; and, from the continuing sale of antibodies from the company's bioreactor facility at the University of Guelph.
